Support in Communicating with Loved Ones
If you think you're pregnant, concerns about telling your parents or your partner may arise. Our supportive staff can help you find the right words to share this news with your loved ones. You can even bring them with you, and we will be there to support both you and them.
What will the first visit look like?
When you book an appointment and walk through our doors, you will be greeted by one of our client care support workers.
We will offer you tea, coffee, and water as we welcome you to complete our request for service form so that you know the services we provide and do not provide. We believe confidentiality and transparency are key to building trust.
A pregnancy test will be provided upon request.
We will offer to walk through all your pregnancy options with you. At your discretion, we will explore and give you space to process your thoughts, feelings, circumstances, and questions.
You and your situation are unique. You may want to only ask questions or maybe you just someone to care about your story. We are here for what you need in order to make a confident informed decision about your pregnancy.
At the end, our support worker will work with you to provide you with connections to other resources either in-centre or within the community based on what you have indicated in the visit.
