We accept newly purchased and gently used second hand items that can be gifted to our clients.

Our relief care closet is one of the ways our community gives support to those who would otherwise go without. We aim to help ease the financial pressures that baby and maternity items can sometimes bring.
This is a list of the items that we accept. You can drop off items during our opening hours at our centre and our wonderful volunteers with sort and organize them! All items are given free of charge to clients. We operate on trust, dignity, and respect for all who come to visit our care closet.
Newborn - 3T
We accept all gently used clothing from newborn to 3T. In our centre, we only keep up until 12 months, but we know that many of our clients can also benefit for their older children.
Maternity Clothes
There are not a lot of places that sell maternity clothes in Sherbrooke. We know that shopping online has its benefits, but being able to try something on can provide security and decrease anxiety surrounding changing bodies!
Diapers, Wipes, Formula
Diapers and wipes are always needed for all our clients. We access diapers and wipes that have not been open. Sizes newborn to 6 are accepted!
Toys
We accept toys that have all the pieces and are still in good condition. We are that you wipe them down before you bring them in order to minimize the spread of germs.
Baby Gear
Strollers, bassinets, breastfeeding supplies (pads, pumps,etc.), bedding, bottles, and more! If you're not sure, you can text us to ask!
Furnishings
If you are looking to donate used furniture, lamps, curtains, or more, please contact us prior to either drop off on a needs basis to clients or to the boutique Encore. We do not take upholstered furniture, pillows, mattresses, tires, computers, printers and cell phones.
Our Partners
Boutique Encore
We are so grateful to be partnered with the Encore Thrift Store. All material donations that do not fit in our care closet are brought to Encore in exchange for client gift certificates. We are so grateful for their team of volunteers!
