A Partnership Creating Affordability and Support for Lennoxville Families

A partnership between Boutique Encore and Options Pregnancy Centre Lennoxville.

It truly takes a village to support families.

In Lennoxville, that village is made up of neighbours, volunteers, community organizations, donors, and local partners who believe that every family deserves support, dignity, and access to the resources they need to thrive.

At Options Community, we are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Boutique Encore, a local thrift store that shares our commitment to strengthening families and creating a more connected community.

Over the years, Boutique Encore has been an important community partner. Their generosity, including significant financial contributions in the past, helped support the work we do with families in our community. As circumstances and regulations have changed, our partnership has evolved — but the heart of our collaboration remains the same: working together to ensure families have access to essential resources and support.

Today, our partnership continues in meaningful and practical ways.

Supporting Families Through Nadine’s Closet

At Options Community, Nadine’s Closet is more than a place to find clothing. It is a welcoming resource where families can access essential items during pregnancy and the early years of parenting.

Subject to availability, Nadine’s Closet offers:

  • Baby clothing up to size 2T

  • Diapers, wipes, and formula

  • Maternity clothing

  • Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding supplies

  • Bath products and bedding

  • Pregnancy supplies, including diapers and large pads

  • Larger baby items, including cribs, bassinets, strollers, car seats, baby carriers, and other essential equipment

These items can make a significant difference for families navigating the costs that come with pregnancy, welcoming a new baby, and raising young children.

But we also recognize that parenting does not end when a child turns two.

Families continue to grow and change, and their needs evolve. Beyond those early years, parents may need support accessing household items, furniture, dishes, and other essentials that help create a safe and comfortable home.

That is where our partnership with Boutique Encore continues to play an important role.

Giving Donations a Second Life

Our community’s generosity makes these resources possible. When we receive donations that are outside the needs or capacity of Nadine’s Closet, we are able to share those items with Boutique Encore so they can continue their journey and support families in new ways.

Together, we help ensure that good-quality items are given a second life.

This partnership reflects the power of community sharing — a crib, a piece of furniture, household items, or clothing can move from one family to another, creating a circle of generosity and support.

By choosing to donate to local organizations like Boutique Encore, community members are not only recycling and reducing waste; they are directly contributing to the well-being of families right here in Lennoxville.

Supporting Families Beyond the Early Years

Boutique Encore also continues to support Options Community clients by offering discounts when families are experiencing financial stress and need access to affordable essentials.

With the rising cost of living, many parents are working hard to provide for their families while facing difficult choices. Having access to affordable items can provide meaningful relief and help families stretch their resources further.

This is what makes community partnerships so powerful. Each organization brings different strengths, and together we are able to support families in more complete ways.

Nadine’s Closet helps ensure that families have access to essential items during pregnancy and early childhood. Boutique Encore helps families continue to access affordable resources as their needs grow and change.

A Village Built on Generosity

Strong communities are built through relationships. They are built when people recognize that supporting families means more than meeting one need at one moment — it means walking alongside them through different stages of life.

We are thankful for Boutique Encore’s continued partnership and for the role they play in our Lennoxville community village.

Together, through sharing resources, recycling items, and supporting local families, we continue to build a community where parents feel supported, children have what they need, and every family knows they are not alone.

Because when a community comes together, everyone benefits.
