Our Team
We could not serve our community without our team! Want to learn more about what it means for us to be support workers? Find out below!
Our mission at Options is to come alongside you in your walk with unplanned pregnancy and pregnancy loss. We meet you where you are at with empathy and confidentiality. We do this so that you know you aren’t alone and that you have support. Our support workers have all received client-care training built by our parent organization Pregnancy Care Canada. The support given at Options is not intended as a substitute for professional services, but as complementary.
Speaking with a support worker can help normalize your experience, empower you to make informed decisions, and provide access to free and available community resources. We support you by listening and helping you find the answers within yourself. We focus on supporting individuals at every level and strive to provide the necessary resources for navigating their journey, regardless of their pregnancy choices.
For more information on the importance of perinatal peer support, we invite you to check out these studies on the subject:
Maternal Mental Health Alliance, a British organization that values both professional expertise and real-life experience of mothers, also speaks eloquently on why perinatal peer support is important. Check out their article here.

Now, she leads our newly launched after-abortion program, offers an artistic space for pregnancy loss debrief, and welcomes our clients with a heart of empathy, love, and compassion.
Her expertise as a trained doula and servant heart ensures that our clients continue to receive the highest level of care and support.

On top of her nursing background, she has successfully completed Options' Client Care Training and is offering our services in Spanish to our community. She is also leading, alongside her husband, our Spanish Parenting Class. We are blessed to have her!

Our ministry is stepping into new levels of transparency and advocacy for a message of options and support for women facing unplanned pregnancy. We are lucky to have her wealth of knowledge as we navigate these new waters.
